As the Assistant Vice President, Commercial Financing, Brian specializes in the financing of seniors housing and apartment buildings across Canada. Over the past twenty-nine years at First National, Brian has underwritten more than $8.0 billion of real estate loans on both a CMHC-insured and conventional basis.  Brian has extensive experience with both construction lending and term lending to the seniors housing industry.  Brian often acts as a financial advisor to his clients who seek his expertise on complex transactions. Prior to working at First National, Brian worked for a seniors housing operator, a major real estate developer, and a Canadian chartered bank.  Brian holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
