Daniyal Liaqat is the CEO and Co-Founder of Tabiat. Having done his PhD and PostDoctoral Fellowship from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto where he was also a graduate student and PostDoc at the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Daniyal has been a leader in the digital health, wearable sensing and AI/ML for healthcare space for over a decade. During his PhD, he developed innovative machine learning solutions for passively sensing the health of people with COPD with wearables, and in his Postdoc, he spearheaded the COVIDFree@Home program at five major Toronto hospitals, optimizing clinician workflows and enhancing care through remote technologies. Now, with Tabiat, Daniyal continues his mission to improve COPD care through a turn-key digital health platform that bridges the gap between patients and healthcare providers.
